Are you ready for a heart racing, action pack new season of 9-1-1 and The Resident? I know I am!
Last week I headed down to LA to attend a season premiere party for the hit shows 9-1-1 and The Resident. We got to mix and mingle with fellow influencers and learn more about the upcoming season, hint, like Jennifer Love Hewitt will be joining the cast of 9-1-1, eeek so excited. We also had the privileged of getting educated on infant and toddler CPR.
My whole family are huge fans and we were hooked from the very first episode from last season. Since the first season ended, my kids have been asking constantly when the next show is going to be on. Well, the wait is over….the 2-Night Premiere Event of 9-1-1 will air on September 23rd & 24th at 9/8c on FOX followed by the hit return of The Resident, Monday September the 24th at 8/7c only on FOX.
Being a firefighter family, my husband has always wrinkled a nose at many other “rescue” themed show because of how unrealistic the stories were. But honestly, he was drawn into the similarly real life situations that he has been faced with. 9-1-1, offers just the right amount of drama, with the perfect amount of voyeurism curiosity that people have with the life of a first responder. The show has done an amazing job capturing what the unique lifestyle is like being a first responder and digs in even deeper to show how the relationships are with the people around them, their families AND their “second house family.” I like how the show really highlighted the struggle of being faced with spur of the moment life changing decisions in a realistic way.
We are equally excited for the hit show The Resident to return. This show taps into the hard topics and shows how fragile these life and death situations are. I like how they allow for mistakes to be made and show how they learn from those mistakes. This season, they will be picking up right where they left off and start the season with a twist that you don’t to miss. This season will have you biting your nails, not knowing what is coming next, whether it’s in their personal life or professional life. You won’t want to miss the first episode on Monday September the 24th (8/7c) only.
