PLAYING NOW IN PORTLAND MARCH 6 – 11, 2018 AT KELLER AUDITORIUM
TICKET AND PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
Last night I had the privilege of viewing The Sound Of Music at the Keller Auditorium with my daughter. Even though this is a classic and we knew almost EVERY song (fun fact: I had a solo performance in high school of My Favorite Things), I honestly have never seen the movie all the way through to the end. When I was a child, I remember watching it several times… but I somehow but have gone out to play or was called to bed because I was shocked by the highly emotional ending. I looked at my daughter in tears and told her ” I didn’t know this was going to happen”.
Of course during the production you can’t help but be captivated by such talent. the singing will give you goose bumps throughout your whole body. Lauren Kidwell The Mother Abbess will just stun you with her voice and give you emotions you may have never felt before. But the real magic happens between Jill-Christine Maria Rainer and Mike McLean Captain Georg Von Trapp, you can feel the real chemistry between them and when they kisses…the whole audience felt the passion.
Of course The Sound of Music couldn’t be possible without those amazing 7 children of Mr. Von Trapp. To find that much talent in both acting and singing is truly amazing, they couldn’t have been more professional and entertaining… especially little Sophia Massa Gretl, she will steal your heart with cuteness!
Hurry and grab your tickets, take the whole family and enjoy a night with a classic!
