School of Rock IS COMING TO PORTLAND OPENING MAY 21
AT KELLER AUDITORIUM
I am so excited for the Broadway hit School of Rock – The Musical to be coming to Portland’s Keller Auditorium from May 21 – 26. This is one of the first shows that I will be able to take my little one to. This family friendly show has been scored by award winning Andrew Lloyd Webber who is well know for his work on Phantom of the Opera and Cats, just to name a few.
School of Rock – The Musical is based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same name, featuring music from the movie, as well as an original score. The School of Rock – The Musical opened on Broadway to rave reviews on Sunday, December 6, 2015.
School of Rock – The Musical is a hilarious new musical that follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star. He decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. While teaching these pint sized prodigies, he discovers what it means to truly rock. Dewey falls for the school’s beautiful, but uptight headmistress, helping her rediscover the wild child within.
