My weight loss journey has been a bit of a struggle this last week. Not because of the Nutrisystem plan but because of a new work schedule. I am having to go to square one and redesign my whole plan….. When to eat, when to exercise and how to avoid temptation.
This has been quite a change for me. I have been primarily a stay at home mom and I did things at my own pace…. I ate when I wanted to, took a break when I needed it. Now I am struggling with a set schedule. Having two breaks and a lunch, I feel compelled to eat something during those times and that can easily add up to 200 cal per break, not to mention caving in to those high sugar energy boost temptations.
My solution it to plan ahead!!!! I really enjoy sliced apples with cinnamon and peppers with hummus. I am also keeping a few meal and desert bars in my bag if I need that carb fill. Planning a head is also really helping my pocket book. On those few days that I was slipping up, I could easily spend up to $7 a day just on snacks.
Unfortunately I did not have an additional weight loss this week but I have a plan and I plan on sticking to it.
