I have had the privilege to be one of the first to try the new iHealth HS6 Core Body Scale and the new iHealth myvitals smartphone app. This new scale and app combination does it all, you will now be able to track your weight and body mass index, body fat, lean muscle and bone mass, water weight, daily calories needed, and your fat reading.
I was amazed by the ease-of-use that this scale and app combination have, the moment I took it out of the package there was an initial five minutes set up. Basically, all that was required was to download the app on my phone, register an account, and select set up my device to scan the QT Square on the back of the scale and you are synced up ready to go. This was a one time set up and from here on out you are ready to go to track your stats. Each morning, I can just step on the scale and I will instantly get a review of my weight, BMI, water weight, muscle mass, and bone density.
This has been a very valuable tool to me over the last three weeks. I have been on a weight loss journey, and have lost 25 pounds over the last three months. I’m getting near my goal weight, but was starting to slow down and feel a little stuck. The new iHealth was just what I needed to get that extra boost. I’m getting greater insight as to how the inside of my body is functioning and how to move forward with my workouts and diet. It’s nice to confirm that those days that I’m feeling bloated, that YES, I am holding more water than normal, and not to beat myself up over the weight gain. Or I know when my muscle mass is drooping, that it’s time to pump up those weights a little bit more in the gym. Now when that scale is fluctuating a little I understand why and not get down on myself over it. It is wonderful knowing I am able to have a little more control and insight of my body functioning.
The new my vitals app is available for free on both Apple and android devices from the app store and Google play store. Additionally to the scale, that iHealth app is able to connect with other iHealth products, including their blood pressure monitor, other scales in their product line, pulse Oximeter and activity trackers.
Whether you are on a weight loss journey yourself, trying to get into a new lifestyle or routine, especially with back-to-school happening or even wanting to get a jump start on the holiday shopping, this would be a great addition to your household, especially since it holds multiple accounts.
The iHealth HS6 Core Body Scale is available on Amazon and other retail markets near you. You can also purchase on their website or get more information.
