MAXXHaul Cargo Trailer Review
If you have never seen a family of 9 trying to pack into a 9 passenger vehicle for a camping trip or even just a simple picnic…. you really should… in fact grab some chairs and some popcorn because it is quite ridicules. When all of our seats are in their upright positions, we have literally 9 inches of trunk depth space. Not even close enough to pack a simple cooler. You should see my kids by the time we are done packing everyone in for a trip…. all you see are eyeballs, not comfortable to say the least.
If you are like me, you are constantly wishing you had more carrying power. Whether you have kids or like to be on the go, there are times when you simply don’t have nearly enough space. I never really thought about a Cargo Trailer until I got the opportunity to review one for MAXXHaul. I sure am glad that I did, because this thing is a life saver.
The Details
The MAXXHaul cargo trailer works with any standard Class III or IV hitch (2”x2”) and is super easy to install. It is powerful yet lightweight by cargo trailer standards at only 23 pounds and measures 49.25” x 22.25” x 3.25” it also features a 2” lip all the way around. Despite the lightweight feeling of the trailer, it can haul anything up to 500 pounds! That is a ton of power!
One thing that stood out to me right away about this cargo trailer was the tie down capabilities. The way it is made, you can quickly and easily tie down anything that you need to haul. There are literally unlimited tie down points to use. When you are on the run, a quick and easy tie down can save you a ton of time.

This amazing product is also rust-proof and built to last. Cargo trailers are not always so well built but MAXXHaul really made sure this aluminum life saver was made to stick around for the long haul.
MAXXHaul thought of everything by also including built in reflectors that keep you safe and noticeable when you are out and about. This safety feature was very important to me and a welcome sight when I pulled it out of the carton.
The Concerns
The only thing that I had second thoughts about with this product was my own driving abilities. I know that adding that extra length to my vehicle means I will have to learn how to back up differently and watch my extra size. That is something that you have to get used to when you drive a car/truck with a trailer of any kind so that is really one of my own issues.
The Final Verdict
The MAXXHaul Cargo Trailer is a huge thumbs up and is something that I would recommend to pretty much anyone that has more to carry than they have room for. The 500 pound capacity gives you plenty of power and does it safely. That is all you can really ask.
