Oh boy my kids were so excited to see Marvel Universe Live!! They remembered attending last year and were so excited for the new action packed story! My kids had their favorite hero that they were rooting for, with over 25 characters is going to be pretty hard to choose your favorite, I think my kids narrowed it down to Groot and Spider-Man, but that was after a bit of a heated debate… in fact all I heard all the way home was “I am Groot”, the new favorite phase in the house.
This year’s story revolved around the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. Like I mentioned before the whole show goes down like a Live comic book, where there is a villain, a problem, and the heroes solve it and Save the Day.
To my surprise, this year they had a lot of additional entertainment up their sleeve. Of course, they had the popular dirt bikes back in a daring standoff with jumps and tricks that will make you holds your breath. They also had beautiful aerial ribbon acts, flame throwing routines and pyrotechnics that made all the kids jaws drop.
Even though this show is now long gone for the Portland area, for most of you it’s still coming to a city near you. I highly suggest that you check to see if you can grab your tickets now, adult tickets start at $20 and kids tickets only $15.
