Marvel Tesseract Cookies
These loaded Tesseract Cookies will have your kids amazed…. they are more of an artwork that a treat. Perfect for your next Marvel party or for your kids to show off at the lunch table. This Tesseract recipe is so easy, I promise this to be a no fail treat. These cookies are a great universal treat for all of the Marvel movies…..make them for Captain Marvel or for the upcoming Marvel Avengers: End Game.
Marvel Tesseract Cookies
1/2 C unsalted butter, softened
3/4 C sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 C blue sanding sugar
1 -3 drops of blue food coloring
blue rock candy
Directions
Using stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar for about 1 minute on medium speed.
Mix in egg and vanilla. Scrape down the sides as needed. Set aside.
In a medium size bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
With the mixer running on low speed, slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients
The dough is quite thick and you may have to stir the rest by hand.
Add in the food coloring and mix until combined
Roll the dough into balls and then roll into the blue sanding sugar
Preheat oven to 350F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes
Once baked, allow cookies to cool for 1 minute before placing rock candy in the center
