These deals happen periodically throughout the year, generally around holidays and major weekends. This is the most simple way to save hundreds with little effort. Before you settle on upgrading your appliances one at a time, see what sales are going on. They often will slash the prices of their floor models, dents and scratched or return products. These can sometimes be as much at 80% off.
Use Your Lowes Credit Card
Did you know that using your Lowes card can save you 5% off your purchase? Of course, the key is pay off your balance as soon as the bill comes. Otherwise, you’re not saving any money at all. If you know that you’re going to have to carry a balance, use your card during a period where card purchases of a certain amount are interest free. This will save you some serious money. Just make sure you pay off the balance in the allotted time.

Are you store loyal but want to make sure you get that sale price. Lowe’s will match it AND beat it by 10%. Now you do have to have an ad in hand or proof via online to match the exact same size, color, and brand. But , this is a great way to shop where you want and never worry if there is a better price out there. You can try matching for Amazon because that is where I always find the best things but you do need to take shipping in to account when asking for a price match.

You don’t have to be a contractor to get there’s savings, you just have to shop like one. Many things like light fixtures, Caulk and air filters come in bulk sized discounts, usually around 10% off. You can also just ask. If you have a large project, building a deck or placing pavers. ask for a contractor discount. You may just get a yes, worst case…. you’re out nothin.

Lowes sometimes has some great deals and lost leader items. Before you rush out to upgrade your appliances, think about waiting until there’s a good sale. A 30% off sale can be hundreds of dollars when buying appliances. Always look for sales.

Speaking of sales, Lowes often has a daily deal. It pays to check the site on a regular basis to see if something your family needs is on sale.
