Ghost Adventure Haunted Trails At Enchanted Forest
How do you celebrate a 12 year old boys birthday party???? Well you head to Enchanted Forest of course. Now this may not seem like your typical destination for this age bracket but with the help of the hit show Ghost Adventures, this is now the new HOT SPOT for tweens and teens to explore. If you have every been to Enchanted Forest things haven’t changed a whole lot but that makes it nostalgic and adds to the magic because if you’ve ever been…. it takes you right back to your childhood, this was mentioned many times in the Ghost adventures episode at one of the hosts grew up in the Pacific NW area. The sights, the sounds, the smell it’s almost as if time had stood still.
Enchanted forest focuses on the magical nature of story book fairy-tales. As walk down the haunted trails, you get to peek your head in the keyhole of Alice in Wonderland, crawl through the rabbit hole, and see the Seven Dwarfs hard at work in their mine. You and your kids can walk through the witch’s mouth and slide down the old lady who lived in the shoes shoe. My very favorite attraction is the Crooked House there you will have your equilibrium thrown for a loop as you try to navigate your way through the Crooked House.
But all of this has an additional twist, with talks about the grounds being haunted, the Ghost adventures performed several “investigations: with positive results. I tell you the kids had so much fun running down the haunted trails from one location to another to see if the felt the “cold spot” or if they could see any thing off.
Next you’ll find yourself in a whole different era as you step inside the Old Western Town of Enchanted Forest. Your family will savor the feeling of stepping back in time with old time Western music, dusty path and smoky smell. They have done a great job of capturing the real ghost town feel down these haunted trails. Do make sure to look in all the windows while you’re in the western town it has some very funny scenes and scenarios that the adults will definitely get a kick out of. Also make sure to check out the little hidden walkway next to the gift shop, you will be able to walk down a springboard floor that gives you the feeling of being a little bit “tipsy” this is quite fun for the kids and the adults.
Haunted Trails At Enchanted Forest
The main attraction for the Ghost Adventure Birthday party is the Haunted Mansion, here is where they found the most “activity” They saw, shadows, had many cold spots and even captures some audio confirmation… it really is quite incredible. Even as an adult I was so intrigued by being right where all the action was, being about to see the same hallway or sit in the same corner where they had a connection was quite exciting.
If you can’t afford a bracelet on your visit and need to choose only one ride, I would definitely choose the Big Timber log ride, it is the largest log ride rollercoasters in the pacific northwest. I would say it comes actually a very close second to disneyland. I found it even sweeter that they offered everyone a poncho to wear during the ride without having to gouge them and make them pay for one.
Enchanted forest is the perfect spot for your next teen or tween birthday party! Feel free to pack in your party at no additional fee! Bring the picnic, cake and presents and enjoy their outdoor eating area just steps from the entrance. Make sure that you watch the Enchanted Forest Ghost Adventure episode before you head down these haunted trails . Once you watch it you know where all the active “hot spots” are! If you want to take it a step further… consider buying an EMF machine, Amazon has very reasonable prices. This will really be a way to amp up the fun and excitement and possibly a little spook!
