Disclosure: I was hired by Kroger to shop and share with you my ClickList experience. All thoughts and ideas about this experience is my own!
The Top Five Reasons Why I Love ClickList
When I was a new mother… I LOVED going to the grocery store… it was like my little vacation away from home to be with other adults. Now that my kids are getting older and my days are getting fuller… I try to avoid going to the store as long as possible. Long lines, long days, kids schedules and being over all tired can cause that sort of reaction in a person. I know for me, I wish, me repeating my to do list in my head 3,000 times, was enough for it to be conquered… I know I am tired just thinking about it… that should count for something, right?? My dream is to be whisked away to a giant, kid-free zone, while I got fed grapes and a massage while others did my shopping for me. When they were through, I would come back to reality refreshed and ready to go back to being a mom. ClickList is kind of like that minus the massage, kid-free zone and grapes. But hey! They have the shopping for me part down pat! In a world where we take all the wins we can get, that is pretty good.
Sign up was pretty easy!!! I just did a quick registration and linked my rewards card (if you don’t have one you can VERY easily sign up right there). After that, I was able to get my feet wet, and scout out the site by checking out their sale items. It took only a few minutes to get the hang of it. I found I used the search box the most.
A few of the features that I liked most and assured me that I would be very happy with my order is the “special instructions box” here you can give specific instructions like…. “green Bananas” or ” I would like weight to be under vs over”. They also have an allow substitutions box…. this comes auto clicked, so if you are in love with a certain brand and only want that one, please make sure you uncheck. Also, if they happen to make a substitution, you will not be charged the difference if it is at a higher rate.
That was it!!! Time to pick your date, you can pick a date several days out and you time in 1 hour windows. You would get an estimated cost (weighted items very slightly, however my cost was only about $2 under) and “checkout”.
You will pay at the time of pick up with either credit or debit card (those are the only options at the moment). Then you are done!!! You may make adjustment up til midnight the day before pick up.
I think they made a regular customer here!!!! Here are five spectacular reasons why I love ClickList and you probably will too:
ClickList saves me time
Entering a grocery store is a time warp for anyone, much less a mother with kids in tow. Everything is tougher when you have to get out the stroller, diaper bags and so on. Once inside, you have to go from aisle to aisle, find what you need, keep the kids happy and still focus long enough to get what you need.
Now, instead of that imagine kicking your feet up with your laptop and shopping from there. That is ClickList for you folks! You can do it in your pajamas with a hot cup of tea and save tons of time while doing it!
ClickList keeps me on budget
I am far less likely to buy that new plastic jump rope or sugary cereal that my kids are begging me for when I use ClickList because…well…they aren’t there. I am also far less likely to hit the calorie busting sweets when I can’t see or smell them. Another win for ClickList!
ClickList keeps me dry
If you live in the Pacific Northwest, you know what it means to RUN from the car to the store dodging raindrops. All. The. Time.
ClickList allows me to pull up in my car, undercover, get my groceries and be on my way, all while staying DRY. That is a huge win for this Northwest gal.
ClickList allows me to use rewards cards and coupons
Being a couponer and deal shopper, I was concerned that I would not be able to use my coupons or rewards cards. ClickList encourages us to save money by using them, in fact, that was the first thing they asked when I pulled up to check in! I can still save cash and have all the perks? Yes, please.
ClickList lets me be flexible
I like options as a mother. I like having a chance to go left or right. Up or down. ClickList allows me to pick up my groceries anytime instead of when I happen to be in the neighborhood. I can plan ahead and move that around… I can even change my mind up til midnight the day before. I can choose how I want to shop and when. Best of all, I can do it without the typical hassles associated with grocery shopping.
