When I had the opportunity to review wine from the California Wine Club I jumped right on it…. not because I am big into wine but because my lack of knowledge in wine. To know about wine is like speaking a different language; structure, tannins, foxy and astringent just to name a few. All of these mean nothing to me. So, needless to say… me going to the local store to pick out the perfect bottle of wine to impress the boss is like having someone watch your kids who has never even held a baby. I would be better off going in the store blind folded and picking out the first bottle my hand touched.
This Holiday season is going to be a busy one for us…. my husband just got a new job and I see many Holiday parties in our future! Now everyone knows you can’t show up empty handed to a Holiday party…. especially one that is being hosted by your new boss. I know it may be cliche but 9 times out of 10 wine is the gift of choice for your host or hostess. How embarrassing would it be to get one of the cheapest and most undesirable bottles of wine…. that’s not the impression I want to make.
With the California Wine Club I can rest assured that I will only be receiving the highest quality and award winning wine. I can feel proud to hand over that hostess gift knowing they are going to be impressed.
The wines that I received had multiple awards like :
-
Silver Medal
-
Gold medal
-
Double Gold Medal
