ANASTASIA Coming to Keller Auditorium Feb 8 – 13
Anastaia, is a new Broadway show for me, in fact I haven’t even see the movie, so I came to the show with zero expectations on what this production would be about. These shows are my favorite. I love being able to be immersed into a story and feel the love, the fear, and the bravery as authentic as possible. Because when you are unaware of what is just around the corner, you can fully immerse yourself in all the feels that the actor is giving out.
This show didn’t disappoint. You were able to feel all of Anastasia’s highest highs and lowest lows. You could feel the rock bottom torcher of her struggling to find and reconnect with her true self. And with that journey, finding a piece of herself that she would have never been able to discover had it not been for the heart wrenching journey.
But with every sorrow and struggle comes a rainbow. Anastasia fights to regain her past and fall in love by giving it all up for true.
Inspired by the beloved films, ANASTASIA transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.
